Interiors at Genre of Design are designed by the same team that designs the building, which is why a living room, a hotel lobby or a reception feels like it belongs to the architecture rather than to a catalogue. We plan the space, draw the joinery, specify stone and timber, design the lighting and furniture, and supervise the work on site.
Our residential interiors range from a 2,400 sq ft apartment in New Delhi finished in exposed concrete and brass to 20,000 sq ft villas in Udaipur and Jodhpur; our hospitality interiors include The Grey Room for Lemon Tree in Udaipur, the Sea Leaf Resort for IHCL SeleQtions in Mandvi and the AC Hotel by Marriott in Dehradun.
Every project is led personally by Ar. Rakesh Sharma from concept to completion, supported by in-house architects, interior designers, visualisers and site engineers.

Frequently asked questions
Do you take interior-only projects?
Yes. Apartments, homes, offices, hotels and showrooms where the building already exists. We begin with a site visit and a brief, then plans, 3D views and a material board before anything is ordered.
What does interior design include?
Space planning, false ceilings and lighting, joinery and wardrobes, kitchens and bathrooms, stone and timber finishes, loose furniture and art walls – drawn in detail so a contractor can price and build it accurately.
Do you supervise the work?
Our site engineers check the work at every stage and the principal architect reviews finishes and furniture before handover.
Which cities do you work in?
Delhi NCR – South Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida – plus Jodhpur, Udaipur and hotel projects across India.
