Architects in Delhi NCR

Genre of Design has worked from New Delhi since 2009. Our studio at D-229, Sarvodya Enclave designs private homes and builder floors across South Delhi, the Opulo flagship stores, and large projects in Noida and Greater Noida including Iridia Housing (7 lakh sq ft) and Orizzonte, a 10 lakh sq ft development with a 180-key Sarovar hotel.

Being in Delhi lets the principal architect stay closely involved in every project, with in-house site engineers carrying the design through to completion.

Most of our Delhi work is residential: more than a hundred builder-floor homes in South Delhi colonies for developers such as Uppal Group, Salcon and Metro Buildtech; private houses such as Box Villa and The Green Terraces in Shanti Niketan; farmhouses such as Pushpanjali Farm, a low, long house that opens to its garden on every side; and apartments including our own home, The Grey Apartment, which has been featured in design publications. Delhi plots come with bye-laws, setbacks, basements and stilt parking that shape the plan, and we design within them from the first sketch so approvals and construction run without surprises.

Beyond homes, the NCR holds some of our larger work: the Orizzonte hotel and Iridia Housing (7 lakh sq ft) in Greater Noida, the Blue Haven boutique hotel in Gurgaon, the Opulo flagship stores in Delhi, and offices for companies across the region. Our hotel experience – for IHCL SeleQtions, Hilton, AC Hotels by Marriott, Sarovar, Lemon Tree and ITC’s Epiq Collection – and our township and healthcare work elsewhere in India are available to Delhi NCR owners from the same studio.
