Genre of Design designs hotels, resorts and convention centres across India – from a 172-key IHCL SeleQtions resort on the Kutch coast to a hillside Hilton resort above Madar Lake in Udaipur and a 276-room convention centre complex in Ayodhya.
Our hospitality work starts from place. At Sea Leaf Resort, traditional Lippan craft is reinterpreted as glass mosaic and furniture draws on local botanical patterns; at Madar Lake, load-bearing stone masonry is left raw so the building ages into the hillside; in Ayodhya, sandstone and temple proportions give the hotels continuity with the city without imitation.
We work with brand standards from operators including IHCL SeleQtions, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, AC Hotels by Marriott, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, Lemon Tree Hotels, Epiq Collection by ITC, and plan for guest experience and efficient operations. Every project is led personally by Ar. Rakesh Sharma from concept to completion, supported by in-house architects, interior designers, visualisers and site engineers.
