The brief
Create a resort on the Kutch coast that feels unmistakably of its place – 2,37,300 sq ft of built space on an 8,05,860 sq ft site – while meeting the standards of an IHCL brand.
The idea
Let the region lead. Traditional Lippan clay-and-mirror work is reinterpreted as glass mosaic, bringing light and precision while keeping the memory of the original craft. Local flora and fauna become the design language, not as decoration but as the foundation.
Making it
The same thinking runs down to the smallest scale: furniture drawn from regional botanical patterns, a mandala CNC-carved into Statuario marble behind each bed, and a woven wall finish carrying a leaf motif from the coastal landscape.
Today
The villas and guest blocks are rising along the shore – follow the construction in the site film below.
