Urban design & mixed-use planning

Urban design is the work between a master plan and a building: how streets, blocks, public spaces and services fit together so that a development works as a place and not just as a set of plots. We have planned mixed-use schemes such as The Grand Avenue (37 lakh sq ft), the Ayodhya convention centre and hotel complex, the PIMS medical campus in Udaipur and farm townships around Jodhpur, and the same thinking shapes our larger hotels and housing.

Our urban design work covers site analysis and massing, the street and block structure, public and landscape space, parking and service strategy, phasing, infrastructure coordination and the design guidelines that keep a development coherent as it is built out by different hands. It is done by the same studio that designs the buildings, so the plan is drawn by people who will have to make it work at the scale of a door.
