Noida and Greater Noida are where some of our larger Delhi NCR projects stand: the Orizzonte hotel for Horizon Buildcon, Iridia Housing, and private homes such as The Box House. Our studio in South Delhi is across the river, so the principal architect and site engineers are on site regularly.

From apartments in Sector 50 to villas in Greater Noida, our interiors are designed with the architecture – proportion, daylight and materials decided together – rather than added as a layer at the end.

Our Noida work spans the scales a growing city needs. The Orizzonte hotel in Greater Noida was designed for Horizon Buildcon with rooms, banquet and back-of-house planned together; Iridia Housing is a 7 lakh sq ft group-housing scheme where the master plan, the towers and the landscape were drawn by one team; The Box House is a private home that takes its name from the clean volumes of its plan. A tower apartment in a Noida sector has fixed structure and services, so the craft lies in the ceiling and lighting, the joinery and one or two bold moves – opening the kitchen, merging two small rooms, giving the entrance a proper foyer. A villa in Greater Noida or Jaypee Greens allows more: courtyards, a double-height living room, terraces planned for the evening breeze. In both we draw everything that will be built so that a contractor can price and build it accurately, and our site engineers check the work on site.

Noida is about forty minutes from our studio in South Delhi and Greater Noida about an hour, so the principal architect and our site engineers visit often rather than occasionally. A project starts with a site visit and a brief, then plans, 3D views, a material board and an estimate before detailed drawings begin; design takes six to ten weeks to approved drawings for a home and longer for a hotel or a housing scheme.
