Architects in Gurgaon

Gurgaon is forty minutes from our studio in Sarvodya Enclave, and much of our Delhi NCR work sits there: builder-floor residences for developers, private homes, and the Blue Haven boutique hotel. Our client Manoj Khanna in Gurgaon talks about working with us in a short film on this site.

Homes in Gurgaon are mostly on tight plots with west sun and tall neighbours, so our planning starts with light and privacy – courtyards, screens, terraces – before finishes. The same team designs the building and its interiors and our site engineers carry it through to handover.

Much of Gurgaon lives on DLF, Sushant Lok and Golf Course Road plots where the footprint is fixed and the west sun is hard. Our homes there begin with light and privacy – a courtyard or a light well, screens on the west, terraces that are usable in the evening – and only then with finishes. We have designed more than a hundred builder-floor homes across Delhi NCR with developers such as Uppal Group, Salcon and Metro Buildtech, so a fixed plan that still feels generous is familiar work: one long sight line from entrance to balcony, one strong material carried through, lighting that lifts the ceiling.

For a family that has already bought a floor or an apartment, we re-plan it for the next twenty years and design everything that will be built – ceilings and lighting, kitchen, wardrobes and joinery, bathrooms, furniture – so a contractor can price and build it accurately.

The Blue Haven boutique hotel in Gurgaon brings our hotel experience to the city: guest rooms planned to an operator’s standard, a lobby that makes a small hotel feel generous, and back-of-house designed before the front. Our hospitality work elsewhere – for IHCL SeleQtions, AC Hotels by Marriott, Sarovar, Lemon Tree and ITC’s Epiq Collection – follows the same discipline, and it applies equally to a corporate office in Cyber City or a showroom on MG Road.

Gurgaon is forty minutes from Sarvodya Enclave, so site visits are routine: the principal architect is at a site in the morning and back at the drawing board by lunch, and our own site engineers check the work at every stage. A project begins with a site visit and a brief, then plans, 3D views, a material board and an estimate before detailed drawings. Design usually takes six to ten weeks to approved drawings; executing a 3–4 bedroom home takes four to six months.
