Interior designers in Gurgaon

Gurgaon is forty minutes from our studio in Sarvodya Enclave, which is close enough for the principal architect to be at a site visit on a weekday morning and back at the drawing board by lunch. We have designed builder-floor residences and private homes in Gurugram with developers and families, and the Blue Haven boutique hotel. Interiors in Gurgaon tend to begin from one of two situations: a new builder floor or apartment handed over as a bare shell, or a family home whose rooms no longer suit the family. In both, the first work is planning – where the light comes from, where the family actually sits, how guests arrive – and only then finishes and furniture.

A typical interior project with us covers the full plan: false ceilings and lighting, flooring in stone or wood, a kitchen designed around how it is used, wardrobes and joinery drawn to the millimetre, bathrooms, loose furniture, curtains and art walls. We prepare plans, 3D views and a material board, and nothing is ordered until the family has approved them.

Because we are architects as well as interior designers, we are comfortable moving walls, opening a kitchen to the dining room, adding a courtyard or a skylight, or re-planning a builder floor so that the master bedroom gets the morning sun. Our own site engineers check the work at every stage.

Much of Gurgaon lives in builder floors and apartments on DLF, Sushant Lok and Golf Course Road plots, where the footprint is fixed and the rooms arrive as rectangles. We have designed more than a hundred builder-floor homes across Delhi NCR with developers such as Uppal Group, Salcon and Metro Buildtech, so we know how to make a fixed plan feel generous: a single long sight line from entrance to balcony, one strong material carried through, and lighting that makes the ceiling feel higher than it is.

For developers, we design floors that photograph well and sell on the first walk-through; for families, we re-plan a floor they have already bought so it works for them for the next twenty years.

Beyond homes, we designed the Blue Haven boutique hotel in Gurgaon and bring hospitality interiors experience from projects for IHCL SeleQtions, AC Hotels by Marriott and Lemon Tree. The same discipline – a guest room tested as a full-size mock-up, back-of-house planned before the lobby – applies to a boutique hotel or a corporate office in Cyber City.

An interior design fee with us covers the plan and the drawings for everything that will be built – ceilings and lighting, flooring, kitchen, wardrobes and joinery, bathrooms, loose furniture, curtains and art – plus a material board, a cost estimate and site supervision by our engineers. Design usually takes six to ten weeks to approved drawings; executing a 3–4 bedroom home takes four to six months depending on joinery and stone lead times.
