Interior designers in Jodhpur

Our interiors in Jodhpur range from double-height living rooms finished in book-matched onyx and Statuario marble to exporters’ offices, jewellery stores and a marble showroom featured in The Architects Diary. We design the furniture, lighting, joinery and art walls as part of the architecture rather than as a layer added later.

Because the same team draws the building and its interiors, proportions, daylight and material palettes are decided together – a house in Jodhpur should feel calm and cool inside however bright it is outside.

A home interior with us covers the plan first – how rooms connect, where the family actually sits, how guests arrive – and then everything that will be built: false ceilings and lighting layouts, stone and wood flooring, a kitchen planned around how it is used, wardrobes and joinery drawn to the millimetre, bathrooms, loose furniture, curtains and art walls. Nothing is ordered until the family has approved the drawings and the material board.

For offices, showrooms and jewellery stores the same discipline applies to a different brief: the visitor’s route, the display, the lighting that makes products look their best, and the back-of-house that keeps the front calm.

Jodhpur has stone and craftsmen in a way few cities do, and we use both. Book-matched onyx and marble in living rooms, local sandstone on walls and floors, veneer and solid-wood joinery, brass detailing and bespoke lighting are chosen for the room’s light and the family’s use, and made by workshops we have worked with for years.

The result should feel cool and quiet inside however bright it is outside, and should still look right in twenty years – which is why we lean on natural materials over fashion.
