In Udaipur we are designing The Madar Lake Resort & Spa, a 155-key Hilton resort built in load-bearing stone on a hillside above the lake, and a Lemon Tree hotel whose grey jaali-and-arch façade sits in the city, where we built a full-size mock-up guest room before construction. A further hillside resort is on our boards.
Hotel work in Udaipur means working with the terrain and the lake views, the city’s stone-building tradition, and the technical standards of international operators – room modules, back-of-house, fire and services – all of which our team has delivered for IHCL, Hilton, Marriott, Sarovar, Lemon Tree and ITC’s Epiq Collection.

Our hotel & resort projects in Udaipur
Working with the hillside and the lake
Udaipur’s hotel sites are rarely flat. At Madar Lake the master plan follows the contours: reception, banquet and spa sit at the arrival level, guests move up by cart, and the guest blocks step up the slope so that none blocks another’s view of the water. Retaining walls become terraces and the stone cut from the site becomes the walls – load-bearing masonry, left raw, that needs no maintenance and looks better each monsoon.
In the city, the Lemon Tree hotel takes the opposite approach: a compact plan on a tight plot, a grey jaali-and-arch façade that belongs to Udaipur, and a guest room tested as a full-size mock-up before construction so every room after it was right first time.
What we deliver to a hotel owner
Concept, key count, areas and massing for the operator conversation; then architecture, interiors, landscape and site supervision from one studio of 25+ architects, interior designers, visualisers and site engineers. We read each brand’s standards before we draw and design for first-submission approval, which saves an owner months of review.
Our hospitality page lists the hotels and resorts we have designed for IHCL SeleQtions, Hilton, AC Hotels by Marriott, Sarovar, Lemon Tree and ITC’s Epiq Collection across India.
