Udaipur sites are often sloping and rocky; we plan levels, retaining and gardens together so the house settles into the land rather than sitting on it.

Much of Udaipur is rock and slope, and the best villa sites look out over the lakes or the Aravalli hills. We plan levels, retaining walls and gardens together so the house steps with the ground: split-level living rooms that open onto terraces, bedrooms placed for the view and the morning light, and parking at the road level so the rest of the plot stays quiet. Stone cut from the site often becomes the walls.

The climate asks for the same care as elsewhere in Rajasthan – shade, thick walls, courtyards and jaali screens – and the city’s stone-building tradition gives us craftsmen who can do it well.

That kind of foresight comes from the first conversation: who will live in the house in ten years, how guests and festivals are hosted, whether parents will join. From that brief we draw the plan, 3D views and a material board, then detailed drawings for structure, interiors, lighting and landscape.
